The property's large gardens and proximity to local amenities add to its appeal. While some guests have encountered maintenance issues, the property has also received praise for its cleanliness and the helpfulness of the property manager and staff.

Most guests found the property to be clean, with some noting it was immaculate and very clean. However, there were a few mentions of specific areas needing attention, such as garden furniture and a smelly hot tub, which suggests room for improvement.

The location is generally well-received, with guests appreciating the proximity to local amenities, pubs, and the Cumbrian coast. The property's setting in Dalton-in-Furness is convenient for exploring the Lake District, contributing to a positive experience.

Guests have praised the property for its spaciousness and comfortable communal areas. The beds and bedding are described as comfortable, although there are some comments about a lack of ventilation in rooms and some uncomfortable beds, indicating some inconsistency.

The property boasts a range of facilities including a games room and hot tub, which have been highlights for many guests. However, there have been several reports of maintenance issues such as non-working showers, heating problems, and leaks, which have impacted the overall experience.

There is insufficient information to assess thoughtfulness as it relates to gifts or special touches provided by the hosts. No reviews mention gifts, so it cannot be confirmed whether such gestures are a consistent part of the experience.

Dalton-in-Furness, an old town, can be found in a valley on the section of the Furness Peninsula that juts out into Morecambe Bay. Dalton, the former county seat of Furness, now boasts a wide variety of excellent dining and drinking establishments. A Victorian drinking fountain, the market cross, and stone slabs used to cure fish in the 19th century are just a few of the noteworthy buildings that surround the town's central square. Dalton Castle, a pele tower built some time in the 14th century, was once a haven of refuge for the monks of adjacent Furness Abbey, a remarkable sandstone ruin set in a calm forested valley. South Lakes Wild Animal Park, the only Laurel and Hardy museum in the world (near Ulverston), and the Haventhwaite Steam Railway (which travels to Lakeside, where you can catch a steam train to Bowness or Ambleside) are all within easy driving distance of the town. The beautiful Cartmel, Holker Hall, and Grizedale Forest are just a short drive to the north of Dalton-in-Furness, in the Duddon Valley. Located at the border of Lake District National Park, this area is perfect for hikers, bicyclists, and beachgoers.

We have just had an amazing weekend at Valley View for my husbands 60th birthday Early check in and later checkout a bonus Met by Leanne and Phil who took us around explaining everything We have stayed before a few years ago It has been renovated to a high standard and extra bedrooms added All are clean and modern The new kitchen was the centre point Two of every appliance Three ovens which are ideal for large groups We hired a chef so definitely a bonus for that The space is extensive So many downstairs rooms where you could sneak off and chill reading or putting your feet up Grandkids and adults spent fun time in the hot tub which was undercover so despite being windy and cold was accessible Elderly parents had downstairs bedroom with bathroom and this was ideal due to mobility issues We spent time in the beautiful games room and had a ball playing ping pong and pool We made use of the logs left and made an open fire in the living room My only ask would maybe be some throws for the colder days to snuggle into Locality spot on short walk of 6 minutes to village with shops and pubs Cant beat this house I would highly recommend it to any large group of people of any age It has something for everyone

Plenty of space for everybody, in fact we didn't even use the conservatory lounge area. A big coat rack in the entrance, would have been useful instead of us piling all our coats on a couple of chairs. We had 7 other houses around the country were considering, we did ask if we could come & look around. When you are spending almost £10,000, we didn't think that was unreasonable. But we were told no for security reasons?? . We have relatives in Liverpool, so we decided we would stay with them for a few days & visit the house. as we had done to other properties on our search. When we arrived the doors & windows were open, as the painters were working. Jordan asked if he could help, & we told him we wanted a look at the house. He was brilliant, showed us around told us you would have 2 christmas trees, the fire place with open fire. Where to eat down town & the shops. He sold it to us straight away. Our only worry was only one fridge, & when we turned up you had a second one , perfect. Thank you again
