Between our 3 couples, we have stayed in a number of sykes properties over many years, this is the best. Spotlessly clean throughout, beautifully decorated with great taste. Stunning property in a beautiful location. Very high quality linen, interior, hot tub. The garden is beautifully thought out with hot tub, pizza oven, decking, fairy lights and seating. The kitchen is very high spec with all the equipment you could need. Lounge is perfect for a cosy night in around a roaring log fire. Bedrooms are decorated beautifully with very comfortable beds, quality linen and great wet rooms/bathrooms. Our hosts were superb, very welcoming and a great knowledge of the area, where to eat and drink etc. Very dog friendly. A dog wash in the garden and a boot room as you go in, to clean them down and dry them off. We could not find fault with this property at all. Higher than 5 star. Already looking to go back again.

The barn itself is just stunningly beautiful - from its decor to its setting. Itâs incredibly comfortable and well proportioned. The outdoor area was just as comfortable as indoors and we took advantage of the hot tub and the pizza oven (thanks Wayne). Our hosts were superb and nothing was too much trouble. Quite simply - we loved it.
